Maubuisson

On sun 18th we spent the day on the lake or lac in Mabuisson as they say in France.
Beautiful spot, hard to believe its only a lake, pretty big.
10 more minutes and  you are in the Bay of Biscay, we will get there yet.
As Yvonne has to work, she spent all day Monday the 19th on the veranda logged into her laptop and phone, sitting on the Veranda.

They kids  played on the giant trampoline and table tennis.

When it finally cooled down we went back to the lake for an evening of fun and games.
Jacks friend Trey and his mother Virginia flew in late on Monday evening, we will no doubt meet them tomorrow some time.

On the twentieth  we traveled 10 km to see Trey and Virginia in there charming accommodation in  "RĂ©sidence La RĂ©sidence du Lac Monflanquin Sud-Ouest" .

They three kids played all afternoon in they pool as the adults sipped wine and ate cheese on the balcony.

day before the big journey

It is the fifteenth of June 2017, the sun is shining in Dublin, i would say temp is 22 degrees. The best day so far this summer.

I saw a sign in Ardagh this morning "Mid Summer 2017 Kids Fete on Saturday", mid summer me Arse, it has been very windy with a spot of sun every second day for one or two hours.
Anyways we are heading tomorrow on our annual french trek.
I think we haven't missed a year in twelve years, i can remember Jack balling in his cot and then Saoirse three years later loving it just as equally. Boring i hear you say but we go somewhere new every year all though we were in Bordeaux last year we are going again.
This year we are going for seven weeks, i will update this blog as we go. Last year was awesome as we did 5 weeks in the states loved Disney, Epcot and Universal rocked me.
We did a week and a bit in Bordeaux also with Nowlween, Rafael, Adeel, Arran and Suzanne. We flew in for the trip. Anyways i diverge,
The car is in for a checkup, prior to our trip, has been for two hours now so i decided to create this blog and post the first entry here.
 Lawn mowed yesterday.
last bit of painting complete.
 House cleaned up
Yvonnes gone to her work for the last time prior to the trip.
Must pack the car later today
 2 hours to Rosslare
20 hours on the high seas
9 hours driving to Bordeaux
I will attempt to update this blog every second day at least.
You can tune in anytime when you are bored and need a laugh at my chronic grammar and spelling skills.
I'm sure, Yvonne's  posts  will be more "Booker price" ready material than mine and definitely more entertaining

Bonne chance
Enda and Yvonne
